The Fall 2009 Speedy Eclipse manages to meet 2 of my 5 trends for this season

Now that we’re in the midst of London fashion week, on the heels of New York and looking forward to Milan (phew!) starting tomorrow, I continue my public service for all the world’s fashionistas-on-a-budget (you’re welcome sister!) with this season’s hottest replica handbags trends—how to look damn fine, get with the latest and hottest, and save your money! For Fall 2009 bold, saturated colors are right on trend and there are tons of 2009’s imitation handbags already available to fit this trend. (See my post on the blue hues of Hermes and Louis Vuitton for more on this) Think vibrant amethyst, ruby red, deep blue, or emerald green to brighten up those pitifully gray days.

There are an incredible amount of ruched (or pleated) handbags out there from this year’s catwalk and just as many imitation handbags to match. Splurge! Louis Vuitton was all over it this year. (See the lovely Madonna pictured below) the combination of pleats and drawstring showed up on several LV designs and is also a staple of Miu Miu, Prada and Fendi.

Leopard Print

Grrr! It’s back (as if it ever left). Leopard print is one of those sleeper styles that is always around, can be done awfully, but also amazingly, and every couple of years it jumps into the spotlight again. Well guess what? Haul out your Leopard bras and panties. This winter it’s just about the sexiest thing!
