Leather for handbags is like wood for houses. You just can’t escape it, you just can’t build a replica handbag without it. This is all well and good, but every once and while I wish it wasn’t so. I used to have this beautiful soft satin replica Gucci clutch and just loved it. Now that’s long gone, (lent it to a friend, never got it back) so what options do I have? What’s a girl to do when she’s bored of leather?

Denim Does It For Me

Louis Vuitton has the most obvious alternatives. In fact I’ve almost come to think of my Louis Vuitton replica handbags as just more of the same leather. The LV canvas is in fact not leather at all, as most people know. It’s a tough, waterproof, life-proof canvas that originally appeared on LV luggage…making the use of heavy duty canvas a little more understandable for purses. When I’m looking for something a little different though, the canvas doesn’t quite do it. Right now it’s the LV denim bags that are really doing it for me.
