I know some of you are going to think I’ve lost my marbles here, but that’s kinda the point…I’ve gotta have a little fun with you sometimes! I’ve been loving going through all the new spring styles this week (kind of ironic since the weather is finally warming and I’m inside oozing over handbags online). The Louis Vuitton Nightbird Pochette recreates many of the same themes for LV’s Spring 2010 ready-to-wear collection including the geometric-ethnic print. I love the print and the colours. It definitely has a really youthful feel to it which in moderation can look nice on a woman (even at my age!)

I should be a film stylist! I just loved it. So, which leading lady are you? A casual Ms. Bullock? A royal Ms. Streep, or a boyish, art school Carey Mulligan? Are you all about Gucci handbags? Louis Vuitton handbags? Or is it Burberry for you?

Is Madonna too over the hill for Louis Vuitton? Louis Vuitton has ousted the 51-year-old Queen of Pop as the face of Louis Vuitton handbags in favor of a much younger model, Lara Stone. Sure, I understand the need to keep things fresh, but to me, replacing Madonna with Lara Stone is a little like replacing Marilyn Monroe with Lindsay Lohan. Madonna just has this iconic, authentic, timeless quality that could never be embodied by some 27-year-old who happens wear “plus” sizes.
