The new eco friendly Gucci store in San Francisco
Gucci announced a series of measures to go green this spring and summer. Will replica handbag vendors follow suit and begin manufacturing earth friendly fake purse designs? My guess is not likely, but who knows maybe with some pressure from customers?
In an attempt to both improve Gucci’s image, and of course do a little good in the world, Gucci creative director Frida Giannini has announced several new designs with Green practice in mind. Everything from shoes to scarves to purses have been created from recycled fibers, with natural dyes and using eco friendly manufacturing practices.
It kinda makes you wonder about all the fur, crocodile, and horse skin doesn’t it? Well it’s a start I guess. But a start that has many people wondering if it’ll only serve to draw negative attention to Gucci’s other fashion practices…the not so eco friendly ones. I kind of see that as a good thing. The more attention it gets, the more likely they’ll have to smarten up. That’s kind of my idea here. If I ring the bell for replica Gucci purses to start going green, maybe, just maybe the country of China where all the manufacturing is being done will hear me! (What, you think I’m being a little optimistic?)
Must a Replica of a Green Purse be Earth Friendly too?
If Gucci designs a environmentally friendly purse, an interesting question arises. Would a Gucci replica of that handbag have to be green as well in order to be considered a perfect replica? I say yes. I mean if the materials of the Gucci replica handbags are said to be the same, down to the stitch, then it should be made with the same recycled fibers. Right?

Anya Hindmarch's cloth design helped start the green purse phenom.
Anya Hindmarch, Starting the Green Trend
Before Gucci jumped on the green train, and way before there was any talk of eco friendly replica handbags, a little British designer by the name of Anya Hindmarch started an enormous trend with her “I’m not a plastic bag” canvas tote. Keira Knightly, Lily Cole, Erin O’Connor, and Jessica Biel among others were celebrities who helped make this the first $15 “it” bag ever. Since when has a political statement made such a trendy fashion choice? I’m hoping the trend continues, and carries over into replica purses. Drop the plastic, get into canvas!

We think plastic bag can be a past for all the US cities soon. We would Obama administration will stop all the grocery stores or any stores to use plastic bags. Please send an email to your local representatives and tell them that we don’t want to use any plastic bags. Eco or green bags is the way to go in the future. This for our current and future generation benefits.
