All right the title is cruel, you’re right, but seriously there’s something suspect about a 39 year old woman who still looks 23. I do love Mariah Carey but I was so certain that she had replica handbags. I mean she seems to have a lot of fake things….

I tried so hard, (I mean I strip searched the whole internet!) trying to find evidence of Mariah Carey with a replica purse. In the end all I found was a fake picture of her photo-shopped in front of a stack of Louis Vuitton luggage (really) and ample evidence that this diva has every handbag ever—and as far as I can tell no replica handbags at all.

No fake Louis Vuitton, Just a Fake Picture

I found this picture on luxaholics.com. Are they for real? This was apparently a scoop about Mariah Carey’s recent 3 day trip to London for which she packed a diva record of luggage. It is clearly a shot of Mariah (on a different day) photo-shopped onto a pic of Louis Vuitton luggage—real LV, fake journalism.
Below is her real luggage for the weekend trip, at least what the first porter could manage. (There was a second, equally full, cart behind it!). Notice that she does have one piece of Louis Vuitton luggage but it is buried among a heap of regular old suitcases.
Her LV monogram luggage is barely visible under a stack of black suitcases.
I can only assume that this one piece of LV luggage is not fake. It turns out this is one millionaire singer who really sticks to the real deal. Mariah has been spotted with everything from a Hermes Birkin (of the $100,000 variety), Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, YSL, Versace, Coach and way more. She seems to have a huge love for Chanel, which doesn’t surprise me given her style.

Check out this one little section of her “closet”. I can spot 5 Chanel bags among the ones pictured. But who knows maybe that’s just her Chanel “section”.
Fake Shopping at Gucci
Just for fun I also wanted to post this video of Mariah Carey shopping at Gucci. I find it hilarious, because she’s only fake shopping for Gucci it seems, as it’s mostly just posing for the mass of paparazzi that somehow made it in after her. Doesn’t Gucci do something about that kind of thing?
Alas, it seems my quest to catch Mariah Carey with a replica purse came up short, but look at all the fun stuff I found in the mean time! I guess I’ll have to out some other celebrity tomorrow.
