Drew Barrymore with Boite De Nuit clutch

The Golden Globes have come and gone, and while everyone else is buzzing about gowns I am only looking at what these glamazons are carrying in their hands! I expected a few more Chanel handbags this year, to be honest, but Judith Leiber stole the show. It’s really no surprise, given her elegant restrained designs and high-up star connections.

Hollywood goddesses Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz both showed up to the awards show with their well manicured fingers firmly gripping a Roger Vivier clutch.  Diaz  chose the black satin beaded Prisme Pochette from Vivier’s collection, while Barrymore selected the equally adorable gold Boite De Nuit clutch.

Sandra Bullock’s ‘grape drink’ dress might have been a misfire, but her clutch was a complete success. The Bottega Veneta Grap Knot Clutch she was carrying proved to be a cute little purple purse that was more vineyard than value-pack of soda, which is what we like.

Michelle Trachtenberg was a bit of a flop, outfit-wise. She went for a completely understated Rag and Bone dress, but with the heavy lipstick and severe part she looks more like a goth teenager on her way to drama club than a young starlet on the red carpet. I can’t fault her bag choice, however, because she showed a streak of high fashion dedication and carried the Chanel Timeless Clutch.

Michelle – Chanel – Meh

Amy Adams you’re a doll. The dress by Carolina Herrera was custom tailored to accommodate the baby bump, but the clutch was one hundred percent pristine VBH. For all of you with your finger on the pulse, VBH is the one to watch in the coming year. I’m even seeing a little lovely Tiffany & Co. jewelry sparkling there – what a perfect touch to a lovely ensemble. Check out ExactJewelry.com is a trustworthy replica website with a wonderful selection of replica Tiffany – Adams was sporting diamond stud earrings, but in the past we have seen her wearing a whole range of classic silver jewelry from this line.

Diane Kruger wore a frothy pink dress that called to mind my grandmother’s Geranium garden, and the white boxy clutch from Raven Kauffman might have been interesting, but it wasn’t enough to save this outfit in my opinion.

Ginnifer Goodwin was out on the carpet with an umbrella in one hand, and a silver Judith Leiber clutch in the other. Olivia Wilde, the knockout from the hit TV series ‘House’ was carrying a discrete but definitely high fashion Judith Leiber. Kristin Bell also offset her white satin dress with a silver Judith Leiber. Anna Kendrick wore Marchesa, and carried Judith Leiber. So did Jennifer Garner. Can you determine the most popular choice for the ladies this year?

Christina Hendricks, of Mad Men, was an absolute vision. Her knockout curves were accentuated in soft satin peach, and those cherry-red lips were the perfect offset to a glittering silver Christian Louboutin Kephron Metallic clutch, but while the petals are pretty, it isn’t exactly bringing the metallic pop that the previous clutch affords.
