The Coach purses Kristen Collection is for the older crowd.

The Coach purses Kristen collection is set to launch on November 1st, so I thought I’d take a sneak peak at the collection to see what people are saying about it. With Coach you never know if a collection will take off in the replica world or get totally ignored. From what I read and saw I’m not sure we’ll see many Coach replica Kristen bags this winter.

Purse Blog actually interviewed Raina Penchansky, the Vice Prez of Global communications (fancy title) of Coach handbags. Raina recently booked both Kate Bosworth and Mandy Moore to model for Coach. When they asked her what prototypical “Coach woman” would be—who exactly they’re designing for, she had this to say,

The Coach girl is equal parts fresh and whimsical, sophisticated and refined, chic and feminine. She has a refreshing sense of style and loves to mix her accessories for a casually cool look.

Sounds about right to me. Though from the comments the article it seemed most people disagreed that this line really represented that kind of “girl”. Maybe her mother though. People seemed to like the clutches though particularly, which I’d have to say I agree with. These aren’t my favorite Coach purse looks ever, but they’re not so bad. The colors work well with that soft leather. And really, what’s wrong with purses for the older set anyway? I mean, if that’s what they’re after.

The Kristen clutches seemed to garner a better reaction from fashionistas.
