The fall 2010 line-up of Gucci handbags is completely brilliant. Their subdued colors are a refreshing diversion from some of this season’s more flamboyant handbags (I’m glaring in the direction of certain electric pink Louis Vuitton handbags) and their lines and shapes are nothing short of utterly elegant. Gucci has also bestowed us with a new revamped logo of interlocking Gs, which has its origins in the ’70s. Flaunting textures of supple calfskin and ostrich with curvaceous lines, they are definitely going to be hugely popular when they hit the market in the fall. I just can’t wait until the replica Gucci handbags come out!

I had a riot writing this article. Here’s the idea: First I picked the 3 ladies I feel are most likely to win the best actress award at the Oscars next week. (Don’t agree? I’d love to debate this one, I get so excited for the Oscars!) Then I did a little style profile of them, as well as their character in the movie. Then I picked a handbag designer and style for each. I should be a film stylist! I just loved it. So, which leading lady are you? A casual Ms. Bullock? A royal Ms. Streep, or a boyish, art school Carey Mulligan? Are you all about Gucci handbags? Louis Vuitton handbags? Or is it Burberry for you?

Rest in Peace
The fashion world lost a true original this month. Alexander McQueen, known as one of the fashion world’s edgiest bad boys was found dead due to an apparent suicide by hanging at his home on Feb 11. He was 40. His death followed the passing of his mother earlier in the year, as well as his mentor’s suicide in 2007. I thought it would be important to dedicate a post to the passing of one of fashion’s greatest and most interesting characters, who contributed so much to the fashion world, and in particular to the Gucci brand.

New boyfriend or Gucci handbags source?
It is rumored that everyone’s favorite hot mess Lindsay Lohan has found love in young Gucci model hunk Adam Senn. But seriously, I have a suspicion that this is just a ploy of Lindsay’s to score a free supply of Gucci handbags. Don’t you think? But perhaps the real question we should be asking is: why would this hot young model want to waste his time with a train wreck like Lindsay?
Desperate Times Call for Free Stuff
Think of all the wonderful goodies that could be yours if you were cavorting with a Gucci model. With Lindsay’s failing career combined with her addiction to the finer things in life, this union is the perfect ploy. Surely when Lindsay was considered half a legitimate celebrity she would have got the occasional free swag, or at least would have been able to afford a near endless supply of designer clothes, shoes, and handbags. Now, desperate times call for desperate measures. But how long will it take Adam Senn to realize that he’s actually dating a coke-addicted child that just wants him for Gucci handbags?

Just because the snow’s falling and it’s a little chilly out there, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t keep looking fabulous. In fact, winter is one of my favorite seasons (next to summer, fall, and spring), and nothing really beats hitting the slopes—and looking gorgeous at the same time.
