Leather for handbags is like wood for houses. You just can’t escape it, you just can’t build a replica handbag without it. This is all well and good, but every once and while I wish it wasn’t so. I used to have this beautiful soft satin replica Gucci clutch and just loved it. Now that’s long gone, (lent it to a friend, never got it back) so what options do I have? What’s a girl to do when she’s bored of leather?

Denim Does It For Me

Louis Vuitton has the most obvious alternatives. In fact I’ve almost come to think of my Louis Vuitton replica handbags as just more of the same leather. The LV canvas is in fact not leather at all, as most people know. It’s a tough, waterproof, life-proof canvas that originally appeared on LV luggage…making the use of heavy duty canvas a little more understandable for purses. When I’m looking for something a little different though, the canvas doesn’t quite do it. Right now it’s the LV denim bags that are really doing it for me.

When the first denim collection came out (what was it 4 or 5 years ago) I was super into those Speedy, Manhattan and Papillon bags. Lately, there’s something really working about the newer replica Louis Vuitton handbags for me. I think we may be far enough away from the 80’s for me to be into this! Plus, now they’ve got not just the original, but the Min Lin pattern as well. You can get these in grey, cream, pink, white, black and of course the standard blue denim. It’s a really laid back look that sometimes nails it as a leather alternative.

Coach Canvas

Most of my favorite Coach replica handbags are in fact not leather at all. The Coach canvas, maybe even more than the LV, has grown on me to become something I sort of accessorize around. The same way you might pair a worn leather Dior Gaucho bag (those gorgeous kinda saddle leather Dior purses from a few years ago) with an aged leather belt, I find myself choosing the material of my pants, jackets and shoes to match or contrast my canvas Coach replica handbags.

Gucci Vinyl Replica Handbag

Gucci is another brand with a famous canvas that’s easily as popular as their leather bags. The first replica Gucci handbag I bought was a Boston bag in brown GG canvas. Now I have several similar bags…but what do I do when I’m just outright bored of the usual?
