SOFIA RECOMMENDS

I have been hearing an awful lot about Chloe recently. These bags seem to be number one on everyone’s wishlist – I have a little trouble seeing why. I’ll tell you all the truth, now when was it… around 2005-2006 I bought a Chloe Paddington like everyone else and then I got pregnant and let me tell you, you do not want to be carrying around that 3 ton bag when you are pregnant! Anyway, I never really pulled it out again after that because; well it’s just too heavy. To this day many of my favourite replica websites include Chloe bags in their collection. My question is who is carrying these 3 ton bags?

Score: 5
(Scoring works by whether or not a site scores a positive in each of my 7 criteria below)
Not all replica handbag sites are created equal- Poshbagz.com is one of the better sites out there. While it certainly has some upsides going for it, I can’t help but criticize it in some areas. Thus, without any further ado, I will put Poshbagz under the scrutiny of my tried and true 7-point system and let you ultimately weigh the pros and cons of this online replica boutique for yourself.

Foxtails? You either love it or hate it.
The upcoming 2010 spring/summer collection Louis Vuitton handbags are starting to show, and let me tell you, there are some delightful handbags in there. The line consists of 7 collections, and is inspired by the notion of what Marc Jacobs calls “the New Age Traveler.” There’s a sort of bohemian/hippie/punk kind of vibe throughout, especially thanks to the funky tassels and charms that go with the bags (but which are sold separately). We’ll be taking a closer look at what are, in my humble opinion, some highlights of the collection. Although the release dates for the bags we’ll be looking at range between January and March, I expect the replica handbags to come out before. So if you’re like me, you’ll be waiting with bated breath from some of these fabulous new designs.

Drew Barrymore with Boite De Nuit clutch
The Golden Globes have come and gone, and while everyone else is buzzing about gowns I am only looking at what these glamazons are carrying in their hands! I expected a few more Chanel handbags this year, to be honest, but Judith Leiber stole the show. It’s really no surprise, given her elegant restrained designs and high-up star connections.
Hollywood goddesses Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz both showed up to the awards show with their well manicured fingers firmly gripping a Roger Vivier clutch. Diaz chose the black satin beaded Prisme Pochette from Vivier’s collection, while Barrymore selected the equally adorable gold Boite De Nuit clutch.

Is Madonna too over the hill for Louis Vuitton? Louis Vuitton has ousted the 51-year-old Queen of Pop as the face of Louis Vuitton handbags in favor of a much younger model, Lara Stone. Sure, I understand the need to keep things fresh, but to me, replacing Madonna with Lara Stone is a little like replacing Marilyn Monroe with Lindsay Lohan. Madonna just has this iconic, authentic, timeless quality that could never be embodied by some 27-year-old who happens wear “plus” sizes.
