What to wear? It’s Paris Fashion Week, and last week was New York Fashion Week, so we’re hearing about all of the fabulous replica Louis Vuitton handbags we’ll be wearing in six months when fall comes. Spring, on the other hand, is showing signs of blooming all around me, and I want to start thinking about what to wear tomorrow when the tulips start popping! Thus, I’d like to take another look at the Spring 2010 Louis Vuitton handbag collection. When I last wrote about the collection, a few of the bags really got me excited, others not so much, and the tassels and charms just kind of weirded me out. Well, I’ve had a change of heart about a few things, and I’m actually more excited than ever about this collection.

The Louis Vuitton Nightbird Pochette recreates many of the same themes for LV’s Spring 2010 ready-to-wear collection including the geometric-ethnic print. I love the print and the colours. It definitely has a really youthful feel to it which in moderation can look nice on a woman (even at my age!)

The fall 2010 line-up of Gucci handbags is completely brilliant. Their subdued colors are a refreshing diversion from some of this season’s more flamboyant handbags (I’m glaring in the direction of certain electric pink Louis Vuitton handbags) and their lines and shapes are nothing short of utterly elegant. Gucci has also bestowed us with a new revamped logo of interlocking Gs, which has its origins in the ’70s. Flaunting textures of supple calfskin and ostrich with curvaceous lines, they are definitely going to be hugely popular when they hit the market in the fall. I just can’t wait until the replica Gucci handbags come out!

I had a riot writing this article. Here’s the idea: First I picked the 3 ladies I feel are most likely to win the best actress award at the Oscars next week. (Don’t agree? I’d love to debate this one, I get so excited for the Oscars!) Then I did a little style profile of them, as well as their character in the movie. Then I picked a handbag designer and style for each. I should be a film stylist! I just loved it. So, which leading lady are you? A casual Ms. Bullock? A royal Ms. Streep, or a boyish, art school Carey Mulligan? Are you all about Gucci handbags?
